    As a local, mutual building society, we want to involve people across all of our branches to make a real difference to a charity that’s close to all our hearts – that’s why we support a local charity through our fundraising activity every year.

    This year our staff voted to raise money for a local charity that best supports one of the causes we believe in – making sure people have a roof over their heads.

    Framework have been supporting homelessness for 10 years by offering a wide range of accommodation and support services to some 7,000 people a year who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

    We’re absolutely delighted to be working with Framework, an East Midlands charity, and to be able to support those people who need help with their housing needs.

    What they do

    House people - to bring them back into a community structure. Framework are able to house some 600 people at any one time.

    Support people - to stand on their own feet. People who are homeless often need particular support: basic living skills, legal advice.

    Train people - to get them back to work with practical skills like decorating, bricklaying, carpentry and catering.
