But the fact of the matter is that the sooner you do start planning, the more you could save in the long run. That’s because funeral prices are rising fast – by 2016, the average cost may be as high as £4,751*.

  • What is Funeral Planning?

    A funeral plan is a simple and straightforward way for people aged 50 or over to cover the cost of a funeral in advance and put arrangements in place. You pay a fixed price now, either in a single lump sum, over 12 or 60 months*, or agree a payment period that suits your individual needs.

    The money paid for the plan is held in a secure and independent Trust Fund. When the plan is needed the money is paid directly to a Dignity Funeral Director so there will be no unexpected bills to be met, either by your family or your estate.

    Not only will all the cost of the arrangements and services covered by the plan be included, you will also be able to include any individual requests** you may have for the service itself.
