- Your client may have to pay an additional land registry registration fee depending on the value of the mortgage loan (full details are provided in the solicitors guidance notes sent to applicants).
- The free legal service is not available where there is a transfer of title from joint to sole, or if any money is being raised to purchase equity in the property or as part of a divorce settlement
