The following charges apply to all our accounts:
1. Unpaid cheques.
If you pay a cheque into your account and the bank returns it unpaid, we will charge you £15.
2. Telegraphic transfer (CHAPS).
We will charge £30, for money telegraphically transferred from an investment account.
3. Transaction histories.
If we provide a transaction history for an investment account, we will charge you £15.
4. Unpaid direct debits (applies to telephone accounts only).
If you ask us to transfer money to your telephone account and there is not enough money in your nominated account, we will charge you £15. If you ask us to do the transfer again and it is unsuccessful for the same reason we will charge a further £15.
5. Replacement tax deduation certificate.
A charge of £10 will be made (effective from 20 March 2006).
If we provide any of the above services we will deduct the charge from your account at the time we provide the service. We will either tell you at the time or write to you to tell you the charge we have made.
