The Nottingham Building Society
There are eight Board directors, of which three are full time executive directors and the remaining five are non-executive directors. The offices of Chairman and Chief Executive are distinct and held by different individuals.

The Chairman is principally responsible for leading the Board and is not involved in the day to day management of the Society. The Chief Executive is responsible for running the Society and implementing strategy.

The Board directs and supervises the Group’s affairs. The full Board normally meets monthly. It sets the strategic aim and ensures that the necessary financial and human resources are in place for the Group to meet its objectives and reviews management performance.

There are a number of Board Committees that the Board has delegated authority to;the Audit Committee, the Nominations Committee, the Remuneration Committee and the Risk Committee. Membership of these Committees and their Terms of Reference can be found by ‘clicking here’.
