Belper charity sees money 'Drop Inn'

Community project The Drop Inn is £3,000 better off thanks to one of our Grants For Good.

The Belper based foundation for youth innovation successfully bid for funds and founder and managing director Andrea Fox MBE recently visited our Belper branch to pick up the cheque.

As well as handing over the money we have committed to supporting The Drop Inn on an ongoing basis and meetings have already taken place to further strengthen the relationship.

Andrea said: “This award means we can guarantee support for young people not in mainstream education – helping them with independent living, basic life skills and accredited education. We are extremely grateful for this grant."

Senior customer adviser Lucie Allsopp added: “We are thrilled to be able to support the The Drop Inn, a fantastic initiative that is having an extremely positive impact on the lives of local young people.

“Following the cheque presentation I visited them to see some of the work carried out by Andrea and her team and was hugely impressed.

“We have discussed getting involved with a few things in the future and are very much looking forward to that – being at the heart of the community is very much part of our ethos.”
