Dynamic duo jump to it for Cash for Kids
Daredevil duo Chris Elrick and Lewis Holland will soon swap building society books for bungee ropes as they take the plunge to raise funds for Hallam FM’s Cash for Kids.
The adventurous pair, who both work at our Sheffield branch, will participate in a 160ft bungee jump into near darkness at Rotherham’s Magna Centre.
They will be cheered on by colleague Lisa Bunting, who said: “We’ve chosen Cash for Kids - a charity that supports South Yorkshire children who are sick, vulnerable or deprived and in need of extra support.
“Lewis and Chris are both looking to raise 160 donations of £1 – a pound for each foot of the jump! Every donation made gets them closer to that target.
“The people of South Yorkshire are also invited to come along and show their support when our very own super heroes take part in the event at 3pm on Saturday 2 April.”
Hallam FM’s Cash for Kids charity manager Allan Ogle added: “We are supporting more causes than ever in our communities and we can’t do it without the support of businesses like The Nottingham fundraising for us.
“Their staff taking on the world’s largest bungee is incredibly exciting - not only is it raising vital funds for Cash for Kids but also providing a thrilling experience to remember.”
