Eastwood show their stripes

Our Eastwood branch continue to get their claws into the local community – with their continued sponsorship of a local junior football team even inspiring the deputy mayor to be ‘feline’ good.

Staff recently celebrated sponsoring Moorgreen Colts for another year by joining them at their annual fun day in Birnam Park.

To tie in with an event that included mini football matches, bouncy castles and much more, they manned a stand distributing information and advice about The Nottingham’s products and services and provided face painting – even managing to persuade councillor David Townes to agree to be transformed into a tiger!

Branch manager Judy Olney said: “The bond we have developed with local people through events like these is truly amazing. Not only are we sponsoring a great football team who help children from all backgrounds, but have also built a new relationship with the local town council to help play our part in Eastwood being all about the community. We are thrilled to be involved.”
