Our estate agents in Market Harborough have kicked off their sporting themed charity fundraising raffle – hoping to score big with a signed Leicester City FC football shirt as the premier prize!
Visitors to the town’s branch of Harrison Murray have the opportunity to win the sought-after shirt.
The raffle will run from now until close to the end of the football season, and not only celebrate The Foxes’ amazing success as Premier League leaders, but also raise money for the SportsAid cause at the same time.
Tickets are being sold for £1 each (or six for £5) to customers and members of the public who visit the branch at 45 High Street throughout March and April.
Estate agency manager Kameron Hutchinson explained: “We have been lucky enough to be given this shirt by the club as part of our involvement with Leicester City and the Harrison Murray Estate Agency Schools League.
“Over 50 primary schools throughout Leicestershire will compete in the league, with the top four teams progressing to a knockout competition at Leicester’s very own King Power Stadium at the end of the football season in May.
“In the meantime, we are giving one lucky fan the chance to very simply win the signed shirt through a raffle.
Continuing the football theme there will also be a chance to support the cause at two Harrison Murray penalty shoot-out events in Market Harborough from 12noon on 21 May at Symingtons Recreation Ground and 22 May at Market Harborough Football Club.
All proceeds from these events and the football shirt auction will be donated to SportsAid, which helps young athletes to achieve their ambitions. Among those is 17-year-old Leicestershire triathlete Caitlin Roper – who is supported by the Market Harborough branch.
