What is the interest rate and is it fixed?

Annual interest is 5.00% tax-free p.a./AER*. The interest on this account is variable, this means that it can go up or down. The basis on which we might change your interest rate is set out in our terms and conditions.

Will I be taxed on the interest?

No, the interest you'll receive will be tax-free.

How much can I save in this account?

You will need a minimum of £10 and a maximum of £2,400 to open an account. Thereafter, you can deposit up to £1,600 per month. You can pay in as much as you like up to the annual ISA allowance (£20,000 for the current tax year) while the issue is open. Transfers in are not permitted.

Can I withdraw money?

Withdrawals aren't allowed until the account matures on 5th April 2024, however you are permitted to transfer the total balance of this account to a new ISA provider. There will be a charge of 180 days’ interest on the amount transferred.

How can I open an account with The Nottingham?
