Billy hailed by Harrison Murray
Our estate agents pride themselves on being at the heart of the local community - so handing out a trophy to an amazing local youngster was a no-brainer.
Senior sales negotiator Tracey Palmer, who works at the March branch of Harrison Murray, visited the Neale-Wade Academy to present 14-year-old Billy Griffiths with a ‘Contribution to the Local Community’ prize at the school’s annual awards.
Harrison Murray sponsor the category and were delighted to see the honours go to such a deserving recipient in Billy, who not only supports a school garden project but also volunteers or is an ambassador for a number of other community projects including being part of Fenland Youth District Council and Young Leaders in Service.
Tracey said: “Neale-Wade Academy is the main secondary school in our area and we wanted to show our support, but in some way that was fitting with the ethos of our company.
“When we heard about the Contribution to the Local Community award it was perfect for us to get involved in as we care about supporting our community.
“And we were delighted to go along to Neale-Wade to present the trophy to Billy - a fantastic and inspirational young man who is a really worthy winner.”
Meanwhile, the March team also recently helped children from Burrowmoor Primary School get in the harvest spirit in the form of a colouring competition.
What a star - Billy receives his richly deserved award from sales negotiator Tracey Palmer.
