Your savings protection limit is increasing

From 1 December 2025, the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) protection limit will increase from £85,000 to £120,000 per person, per financial institution. This means even more of your savings with us will be covered, giving you additional reassurance that your money is safe.

Protecting your eligible deposits with the FSCS

Your eligible deposits with Nottingham Building Society are protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme.

This limit is applied to the total of any deposits you have with Nottingham Building Society. Any total deposits you hold above the £85,000 limit are unlikely to be covered.
