App enhancements - May 2025
Helping you get the right support, when you need it
We’ve taken a small but meaningful step to support members who may need a little extra help when using the app. We’ve introduced a simple online journey that makes it easier to let us know if you have any specific support needs.
Whether it’s how we communicate with you or the way you manage your account, this new feature gives you a straightforward way to share what you need - so we can tailor our support to better suit you.
Lifetime ISA bonus notifications
As part of the enhancements we made in April 2025, we introduced notifications for incoming payments - helping you stay informed the moment money is added to your account. At the time, we also mentioned that notifications for Lifetime ISA bonus payments were on the way. We’re pleased to let you know that this is now live. You’ll now receive a notification as soon as your Government bonus has been added to your Lifetime ISA, giving you even more visibility over your savings. It’s another step forward in helping you stay in control and up to date with your money.
To make sure you don’t miss out, check that app notifications are turned on in your device settings.
Fixed rate maturity options
We’ve added a new feature to the app that makes it easier to manage your savings when your fixed rate ISA matures. You can now view your maturity options and choose your new savings account directly within the app - quickly, securely, and at a time that suits you.
This means no need to call us - you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips to decide what’s next for your savings. Whether you’re reinvesting into another fixed rate product or moving your money into a more flexible account, the choice is now yours to make in just a few taps.
Redesigned hamburger menu
We’ve redesigned the hamburger menu in the app to make it easier for you to find what you need, faster. If you’re not familiar with the term, a 'hamburger menu' is the three-line icon usually found in the top corner of an app - it opens up a menu that gives you quick access to different sections.
This new design was created through a collaborative effort across our teams. Colleagues from across the business helped design and prototype different layouts, before voting on the one that made the most sense for our members. The updated menu is now grouped into three clear categories: Account, Products, and Support - making it simpler to navigate and putting the most important tools right at your fingertips.
New filters to track what's in and out
Our members told us they loved being able to see all their transactions clearly in the app - but wanted a little extra help to understand what was going in and out. So, we’ve listened and made a helpful improvement.
We’ve introduced new filters that let you easily toggle between ‘In’ and ‘Out’ transactions, or simply view ‘All’. Whether you’re keeping an eye on incoming payments like interest or transfers, or tracking what’s been paid out, it’s now much easier to follow your money at a glance.
