What to do if something goes wrong
We are committed to giving you first-class service. However, if something goes wrong we know that you may want to make a complaint or to provide feedback on how we can improve going forward. You can find more information about making a complaint or providing feedback here.
Within the first five days we will look into your complaint and write to you with details of our findings and what we plan to do to put things right. If we need more time, we will send you an acknowledgement letter instead, which will tell you the name of the person looking into your complaint. We will then write to you again within four weeks of receiving your complaint with details of our findings and what we plan to do to put things right.
If you are not happy with our solution, you can ask us to review your complaint again.
We will review your complaint again and send you our final response letter within eight weeks of receiving your complaint. If you are still not happy, the letter will tell you how you can refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service. You must do this within six months of the date of our final response letter.
There may be times when we cannot send you our final response letter by the end of eight weeks. If this is the case, we will write to you to explain why, and let you know when we can do so. If you are unhappy with the delay, you can refer the matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
