Hats the way to do it for our Stapleford team!
Hats off (well actually, it will be on!) to our Stapleford branch, who are all set to participate in Wear A Hat Day on 24 March as part of Brain Tumour Awareness Week.
Building society and Nottingham Estate Agency colleagues will don straw numbers, fedoras and beanies, as well as holding a cake sale, to raise funds for Brain Tumour Research.
And the team will ‘cap’ off their magnificent efforts by giving a customer the chance to judge the Easter Bonnet Design competition the team are running in conjunction with the town’s Fairfield Primary School.
There will be gift vouchers up for grabs for first and second place and then all of the colourful entries will be displayed in-branch over the Easter period until early April.
Building society customer adviser Leah Cook said: “We pride ourselves on being right at the heart of the community, whether that’s raising awareness of and money for a great cause that has touched the lives of many people or engaging with schools like Fairfields and other organisations.
“We are looking forward to donning our hats for a day, selling a few cakes and celebrating the creativity of the young people of Stapleford. It promises to be a great day.”
The branch can be found at 1-3 Church Street, Stapleford, NG9 8GA.
Leah Cook, Carol Wright and Mason Thorpe have a ‘hat rehearsal’ at our Stapleford branch.
