Louth link-up to aid first time buyers

Home buyers in Lincolnshire have received a potential property boost after the Louth office of the Nottingham Estate Agency (NEA) linked up with a local builder to offer a modern new development at affordable prices.

NEA has joined forces with well-known local builder Chris Fairburn to market the complex of eight new two and three bedroom townhouse properties - perfect for first time buyers – his company has built on the site of an old swimming pool just off Riverhead Road.

Mr Fairburn wanted to instruct NEA due to the added advantage they are able to offer a route in to the Government’s Help to Buy Scheme, via Nottingham Mortgage Services* (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nottingham Building Society)*.

Carl Smith, estate agency manager at NEA’s Louth and Skegness offices, said: “This is an exciting coming together of experts in the property sector to offer the full range from the first brick being laid through to completion on sales. The complex is an attractive and affordable way for people to get onto the housing ladder.

“Mr Fairburn was eager to instruct us to help sell the properties as he knew that we had a link in to Help To Buy via Nottingham Mortgage Services, and that anyone buying will be able to complete the purchase ‘all under one roof’ here at The Nottingham.

“It’s fantastic to be linking up with his company to together play our part in helping people in Lincolnshire own their own property.

“There is a well-publicised shortage of homes across the UK so this kind of development is absolutely vital and we want to support the house building effort by offering our sales and mortgage products and services.”

Anyone interested in viewing the properties should call 01507 600944.

*Nottingham Mortgage Services will search, fee-free, over 40 lenders to find the most suitable mortgage** for the customer depending on their requirements. This may or may not result in a mortgage via Help To Buy.
**Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. Generic News Story
