Phoebe wins colourful Belper comp

Local youngster Phoebe Thompson attended a popular Belper children’s music festival - and proved to be right on song by landing a prize from our branch in the Derbyshire town.

The five-year-old took part in a Robin Hood and Maid Marian colouring competition that was part of our stand at the event - and subsequently her entry was named the winner.

Creative Phoebe recently visited the King Street branch - which has been open since March of this year and already become an integral part of the community - and delightedly took away a hamper containing delights such as toys and chocolates.

Customer reviewer Chris Williams, who can be seen handing the prize over to Phoebe, said: “The children’s music festival is a really popular event and because we pride ourselves in being at the heart of the community we decided to get involved.

“But we wanted our stand to be more than just promoting our wide range of services and products and to include something for the younger people so we came up with the idea of the colouring competition.

“It was received really well and of course we had a very worthy winner in the form of local girl Phoebe. Well done to her and a big thank you too to everyone else who took part.”
