Tough mud for Team SportsAid

Five brave staff from our Central Sales and Service team took on fire, water and electrified fences to raise funds for the next generation of sports stars.

Lucy, Helen, Tara, Graeme, India and team captain Andy raised over £1,300 from colleagues, friends and family for our partner charity, SportsAid.

Team Leader Andy says: “We knew it was going to be a tough challenge but nothing compared to the dedication and hard work that is put in every day by our SportsAid stars.”

The team supported para-sprinter and Rio Paralympian Julie Rogers in her 2014 and 2015 seasons to help Julie with the costs of travelling abroad to compete and gain experience.

Since 2013, The Nottingham has supported 128 athletes during the early stages of their career including tennis stars Freya Christie and James Shaw, para-sprinters Julie Rogers and Zac Shaw and Rio table tennis player Sam Walker.
