We’re doing it for Framework.
We’re delighted to be getting behind Framework’s annual summer fundraiser!
Each year the charity asks its supporters to do something to raise awareness and funds for homelessness and in the past four years we’ve done everything from dressing head-to-toe in orange to holding bake-offs and even a trolley-dash!
This year we’re delighted to be supporting the initiative again with a match-fund scheme for regular donors and our special Change for Good campaign.
Gary Womersley, head of branch network says: “I am really excited about this year’s ‘Do it for Framework’ week. Last year we raised around £800 from ‘Change for Good’ and it is always great to see our branches getting behind local services but the highlight this year will be at the Galleries of Justice.”
2017 fundraising will take place over a week from Monday 26th June featuring a series of fundraising events including Jail and Bail in which Framework supporters will be locked up for a series of outrageous crimes and tasked with raising their 'bail' to be released.
Previous 'inmates' from The Nottingham, chief operating officer Simon Taylor and head of estate agency Su Snaith, will be joined by head of IT Mike Dugand who is being sent down for crimes against fashion.
Jess Powell, corporate relationship manager at Framework added: “We are always grateful for the support from everyone at The Nottingham not only the monetary donations but also the assistance with increasing awareness of homelessness and we’re looking forward to seeing how creative you can get this year!”
