Robin Hood up Skegness couple's street
Skegness husband and wife Peter and Amanda Cameron received a visit from the legendary character their street is named after – Robin Hood.
The Camerons, who live on Robin Hood Road in the seaside town, recently put their three-bedroom end terrace home on the market with Nottingham Estate Agency, which is part of our offering here at The Nottingham – and of course one of our mascots is Robin himself!
Robin further added to his legend by popping along and meeting Peter and Amanda, who have lived in what has been a fabulous family home to their four daughters, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild over the last quarter of a century.
Peter, 60, said: “As soon as we put our house on the market with Nottingham Estate Agency we saw the funny side of the coincidence that it is of course on Robin Hood Road.
“It was good of Robin to come along and meet us at what has been a fantastic family home to us for over 25 years. He certainly lives up to his reputation as a thoroughly nice guy!”
Senior residential manager Carl Smith added: “With the property being on Robin Hood Road it was ripe for a photograph – so we didn’t waste any time once getting it on the market in arranging for Robin to nip along from Nottingham to meet the Camerons and get some fresh Lincolnshire coastal air in his lungs after all that time in the muddy forest.”
