Nottingham Building Society's Nottingham branch
At the heart of the East Midlands, Nottingham is the city where Nottingham Building Society was founded by philanthropist and Quaker Samuel Fox in 1849 and to this day is the location of our head office. Its excellent links to cities such as London, Leicester and Derby by rail are reciprocated by connections to the major road network via the M1, A52, A60 and A610. The city is also home to Nottingham Forest and Notts County football clubs and the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team.
Our flagship branch is based centrally, on Upper Parliament Street, close to the Victoria Centre shopping mall and the city’s two universities – the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University. Whether it’s explaining our range of savings options from ISAs to fixed rate accounts or chatting about estate planning, our team are ready to assist. They can help with finding a mortgage through our mortgage broker service, provided by Nottingham Mortgage Services, give expert lettings advice or help you buy or sell a property.
Services available at our branch include

Blinding support for local school
Our lettings team proved their expertise in spotting a window(s!) of opportunity with their support for a West Bridgford school.
HM Lettings stepped in when they heard that Greythorn Primary School needed black-out blinds for both its ICT suite and Foundation Stage unit.
They donated the £1,000 needed to ensure youngsters can continue to learn without the glare of sunshine in their eyes.
Nottingham-based Lettings Manager Marc Taylor said: “We work with a lot of landlords and tenants in West Bridgford so there was a natural fit and we were delighted to help.”
