Four miles west of Mansfield, the market town of Sutton-in-Ashfield (known to most as simply Sutton) is accessible via the A38 and is just two miles from junction 28 of the M1, close to the East Midlands Designer Outlet. The former site of Silverhill Colliery, on thenorth-west edge of Ashfield, was transformed into woodland - featuring the highest point in Nottinghamshire - following the colliery’s closure. Sutton’s fantastic Framework gesture
Branch manager Emma Whild visited Framework to present them with items donated by kind-hearted members.
Emma took time out to visit one of the charity's temporary accommodation locations and handed over the donations.
She said: “It was a very humbling experience to visit Framework but I'm delighted to have been able to leave them with so many items donated by kind-hearted members.”
