The seaside town is a popular family holiday location on the Lincolnshire coast. Tourism has largely taken over from its original predominant industry, fishing, although plenty of fresh produce is still sourced there. Situated just three miles to the south east of Grimsby, Cleethorpes is close to the A16 which goes all the way to Skegness. Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway is amongst the top attractions.
