Buxton branch in the news

Pauline's right at home with £100 prize

Happy building society member Pauline Rushworth received a £100 boost after she visited our Buxton branch to talk about home insurance.

After being introduced to RSA and putting a Take Your Pick policy in place that suited her needs, Pauline was entered into a draw to win one of over 60 £100 prizes we gave away via each of our branches.

Delighted Pauline’s name came out of the hat in Buxton and she chose to pay her winning cheque into her savings account.

Cheque-ing in with local homelessness charity

Buxton-based charity High Peak Homeless Help received a welcome boost recently when they were presented with a cheque for £3,600.

The charity was one of nine fantastic organisations across our heartland announced as recipients of Grants For Good 2018 totalling £32,000.

The money will assist High Peak Homeless Help’s drop-in called 'Tuesday Seekers Club', helping towards costs including a phone contract for service users to contact potential employers.

Our Buxton branch has also become a collection point for toiletries and similar gifts – all of which will help improve the lives of local homeless people via the charity.
