Harrison Murray's Chatteris branch
Market town Chatteris is situated in the Fenland district of Cambridgeshire. After several fires in the 18th and 19th centuries the town was rebuilt and most of its housing dates back to the Victorian period. The tower of the parish church is the only medieval building remaining.
Fertile agricultural land means that industry is still strong, especially given the transport links via the A141 and A142 into wider Cambridgeshire and beyond.
Our branch is based in a prominent location on High Street, close to shops and cafes and less than half a mile from Chatteris Museum, which features displays depicting the town in various historical eras. Whether it’s helping you open one of our many savings accounts or chatting about estate planning, our team of staff are ready to help. They can also assist with finding a mortgage through our mortgage broker service, provided by Nottingham Mortgage Services, or help you buy or sell a property or arrange a funeral plan.
Services available at our branch include:
Bite-sized fact: Indie band Half Man Half Biscuit included a song entitled ‘For what is Chatteris…’ on their award-winning Achtung Bono album.
