Nottingham Building Society's Shepshed branch

Just over five miles west of Loughborough in Leicestershire, Shepshed is situated close to the A6 and M1 making it a popular commuter town for Leicester, Derby and Nottingham. It once claimed to have the highest number of pubs per head in the country however that has since dropped to just seven establishments. Midland League Premier Division club Shepshed Dynamo FC play their home games at the town’s Dovecote Stadium.

Our Shepshed branch is located centrally, on Bull Ring, close to supermarkets, a florist, cafes and a pharmacy. The team of customer services experts are happy to help, whether that’s with information about a new ISA, assisting in finding the right mortgage through our mortgage broker service, provided by Nottingham Mortgage Services, explaining our estate agency offering to help you buy or sell a home or discussing a funeral plan.

Goodie bag boost for young Shepshed trio

Three creative local children scooped goodie bag prizes after producing colourful bauble designs that adorned our branch over Christmas.

Three-year-old Phoebe-Rose, eight-year-old Chloe and Jessica (5), joined over 60 other youngsters in Shepshed who painted, coloured and decorated cardboard baubles delivered to schools and nurseries by the branch team.

The happy trio’s creations were deemed to be the winning entries and they visited the branch to pick up their prizes.

Youngsters land cracking prizes

This smiling trio from Shepshed had some egg-stra Easter chocolate to look forward to after winning an in-branch competition.

Seven-year-old Isabella was delighted to receive a hamper full of tasty treats after her rabbit holding a carrot was voted best entry in a ‘creative egg’ competition.

Ten-year-old Taylor-Jane and Darcie (3) were runners-up and each received a selection of Easter eggs.
