Nottingham Building Society's Stamford branch
The Lincolnshire town of Stamford is located just over 13 miles north-west of Peterborough. In 2013 it was rated as the best place in England to live in a survey by The Sunday Times. Historically a walled town, only a small section of the wall remains. The A1, A43 and A606 provide access to the road network, whilst Stamford railway station has direct services to Leicester, Birmingham and Stansted Airport.
Our branch is situated in the town centre, on High Street, close to a coffee shop, health shop, restaurants, clothes shops and a church. Whether it’s helping you open one of our many savings accounts or talking through estate planning, our team are ready to help. They can also assist with finding a mortgage through our mortgage broker service, provided by Nottingham Mortgage Services, or help with home insurance.
Services available at our branch include
Bite-sized fact: Stamford Fair has been hosted in the town since the Middle Ages and is even mentioned in Shakespeare’s Henry IV, Part 2.
Stamford is located near: Bourne, Corby, Grantham, Kettering, Market Deeping, Melton Mowbray, Oakham, Peterborough and Spalding.

Talking Sherwood to Stamford
Robin Hood, Little John and their jester helped us celebrate our presence in Lincolnshire with a visit to our Stamford branch.
The trio also walked round the market town and engaged with people - highlighting to them the fact we are on the high street and giving out leaflets detailing our products and services, as well as chocolate coins to children.
