Nottingham Building Society's Brigg branch
A small market town, Brigg lies on the east-west transport route across North Lincolnshire via the A18. It is situated between Scunthorpe (nine miles to the west) and Grimsby (20 miles east). Its football club, Brigg Town, claims to have been established in 1863 making it the oldest association club in Lincolnshire and among the oldest surviving clubs in the world.
The Brigg branch, based on Wrawby Street, close to shops including a bakery, pharmacy and a café, boasts a professional team on hand to support our customers with their financial requirements. Whether it’s helping you open one of our many savings accounts or chatting about estate planning, our staff are able to offer advice on a range of subjects. They can also help with finding a mortgage through our mortgage broker service, provided by Nottingham Mortgage Services, or help arrange a funeral plan.
Services available at our branch include:
Bite-sized fact: The famous composition Brigg Fair by Percy Grainger (and then Frederick Delius) was inspired by other English folk songs written and performed by singers in Brigg in the early 1900s.

Branch on same page as SportsAid star Branden
Brigg colleagues organised a book sale and tombola and raised over £100 to help young speed skater Branden Marshall.
The SportsAid athlete, from nearby Goxhill, popped in to the branch to peruse some of the items on offer with Customer Services Consultant Iain Mitchell and to find out more about The Nottingham and tell staff about a fifth place finish in the British Championships and his Olympic dreams.
Since we began supporting SportsAid in 2013, over 160 up and coming sports stars have been helped. Branch staff have raised more than £40,000 over the past five years. The money assists the athletes with training and equipment costs.
