Nottingham Building Society's Groby branch
To the north west of Leicester, Groby is a village built on what was traditionally farming land. Accessible via the A46 and also close to the M1, it has kept plenty of its character over the years in the form of thatched cottages and cobbled lanes. Reputedly the largest natural expanse of open water in Leicestershire, Groby Pool is a 38 acres lake located opposite the quarry on Newtown Linford Lane. It has limited public access, although it is possible to walk along the east side.
Our Groby branch is located prominently in the centre of the village, on Ratby Road, close to a fruit and veg shop, pub and hair and beauty salon. The friendly and professional team of expert customer services consultants and assistants are happy to assist, whether that’s in opening a new ISA, helping find the right mortgage through our mortgage broker service, provided by Nottingham Mortgage Services, assisting in getting you the best price for the purchase or sale of a property or discussing a funeral plan.
Services available at our branch include
Bite-sized fact: A 2011 survey, using 60 sets of data from police, Land Registry, Ofsted and Office for National Statistics named the village as the best place in the East Midlands to bring up children.
Groby is located near: Braunstone, Coalville, Enderby, Glenfield, Hinckley, Leicester, Loughborough, Mountsorrel, Rothley, Shepshed, Syston, Thurmaston and Wigston.
