About our Melton Mowbray branch

Located 19 miles north east of Leicester and 20 miles south east of Nottingham, Melton Mowbray sits on the River Eye and River Wreake. In and around the town there are over 700 buildings listed as having special architectural or historic interest. It boasts the third oldest market in England, however is best known for its culinary speciality, the Melton Mowbray pork pie, and is one of only six places where Stilton cheese is made.

Our Melton Mowbray branch is based centrally, on Market Place. It is close to a health shop, pharmacy, cafes, shoe shop and bakery. Whether it’s explaining our range of savings options from ISAs to fixed rate accounts or chatting about estate planning, our team are ready to assist. They can help with finding you the right mortgage through our mortgage partner.

  • Yvonne - Nottingham, October 2020

“I can’t praise the branch teams enough. They are extremely friendly and professional and always happy to answer any questions I’ve got. To be part of a building society in which I know my savings are safe and secure, and where I know I will always be met by nice people who put you at ease – something they’ve maintained throughout the Covid-19 challenges – creates a great community feel.”
