Nottingham Building Society's Sherwood branch
A suburb 1.5 miles north of Nottingham, Sherwood has a thriving arts scene and the annual Sherwood Arts Week is a popular event, featuring exhibitions, craft fairs and workshops. The A60 provides commuting and public transport links. Sherwood’s main shopping area, on Mansfield Road, is an eclectic mix of independent traders and high street retailers.
Our branch is centrally located on Mansfield Road, close to cafes, a pharmacy, hair salon and supermarket. Whether it’s explaining our range of savings options from ISAs to fixed rate accounts or chatting about estate planning, our team are ready to assist. They can help with finding a mortgage through our mortgage broker service, provided by Nottingham Mortgage Services, give expert lettings advice or help you buy or sell a property.

Sherwood Art Week support and Take a Seat
Our branch is always keen to do what it can to support Sherwood Art Week and, as the photo shows, has previously enjoyed showcasing artist’s work in the window to help promote the event.
The branch is also a proud participant in Nottingham City Council’s Take a Seat initiative. It has joined over 300 businesses and community premises across Nottingham in offering older people the chance to sit down and catch their breath when they are out and about.
